As any parent of an age appropriate child knows, Lego's are 80% the devil and 20% fun. Thankfully the fun meter can be kicked up a little bit in their Lego Ideas sections as they have some more wide ranging options. For us lovers of music they recently launched a pretty awesome Yellow Submarine set. Aside from the submarine it includes the legends John, Paul, George and Ringo, not to mention a little Jeremy. Presumably there are no hallucinogenics included but The Beatles were always pretty clever with their marketing. As for the other pertinent details:
- Yellow submarine features a removable top, cockpit that fits all four Beatles minifigures, four rotating periscopes, two rotating propellers and an adjustable rudder, plus a removable display stand
- Accessory elements include John’s telescope, Paul’s 1x2 ‘love’ tile, Ringo’s round 2x2 ‘half a hole’ tile, George’s submarine motor and Jeremy’s Apple
Suffice to say Lego time just got a little more ..... groovy. Bam.
